Mr. Akshat Pande is a Partner at the law firm Seth Dua and Associates (SDA).

He obtained his law degree from Delhi University followed by an LLM from the University of East Anglia. He is enrolled as a member of the Bar Council of Delhi and is also a qualified company secretary. With more than 13 years of work experience as a lawyer and a CS, he heads SDA’s Noida office. Mr. Pande has also worked in the UK as an Indian lawyer. Prior to joining SDA, he was running his own law firm Alpha Partners which was awarded as the best start-up law firm of the year in 2015 by IDEX Legal and was also ranked as a recommended firm for Corporate M&A and Dispute Resolution by Legal500.

Mr. Pande is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer whose practice focuses on private equity, venture capital, M&A, joint ventures, exchange control advisory and restructuring. Mr. Pande advises clients in sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, real estate, e-commerce (startups) and technology and is also advising government departments/organisations for real estate and infrastructure projects. He has also advised PE/VC investors investing in Indian ventures has extensive experience in this area, specifically related to investments in healthcare, hospitality, real estate and e-commerce companies.

Mr. Pande is a member of the International Bar Association and Inter-Pacific Bar Association and is an avid speaker at start up sessions. He has also authored a book on ‘Valuation of Intellectual Property Assets’ published by Eastern Law House.
