Mr. S. Ramakrishnan is the Principal Attorney and Owner of Shiva & Co. Advocates, Bangalore which was established in 1988 by his father. He has been heading the firm since 2009 after the demise of his father.
He graduated from University Law College, Bangalore in 2007. In addition to his BA LLB (Hons.) from University Law College, Bangalore, he also holds a Master of Business Laws from National Law School of India University Bangalore, a PG Diploma in Media Law from National Academy of Legal Studies & Research, Hyderabad, a PG Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics from National Law School of India University, Bangalore as well as Diploma in Mergers & Acquisitions from Indian Institute of Law, Bangalore and a Diploma in Cyber Laws from Asian School of Cyber Laws, Pune.
He largely handles civil litigation and also deals with a few criminal matters. He also handles real estate law, basic corporate work and IP filings/prosecution. He along with the lawyers at his firm appear across courts in Bangalore right from the High Court of Karnataka, Civil Courts, Criminal Courts, Debt Recovery Tribunal, Consumer Forums etc.
During the past nine years since he took over the firm, there have been many students who have interned at his firm and he has been a mentor to them and offered them his tutelage.
