Mr Ashish Kumar is a Partner at Jurisperitus Law Offices at New Delhi. He graduated in law from Amity Law School (IP University), New Delhi in 2008 and later acquired an LLM with specialization in Corporate Laws from New York University in 2009.
Since 2009, Ashish has been working at Jurisperitus Law Offices where he is a part of both the Litigation and Corporate teams. Jurisperitus Law Offices (JPL) specializes in Litigation & Arbitration apart from Corporate advisory and Project Finance work.
As a part of JPL, Ashish has represented and advised domestic and international clients in litigation, arbitration as well as corporate advisory issues pertaining to: Employment and Labour disputes, Consumer satisfaction & protection, Environment, Electricity, Real Estate, Government/Private Tenders/Contracts, various kinds of Agreements, Wills and Estate Planning, among others. His clients include companies and institutions such as banks, PSU’s, MNC’s from Japan, USA and France.
Ashish has represented clients before the Supreme Court of India, High Court of New Delhi, High Court of Madhya Pradesh, High Court of Punjab & Haryana; High Court of Bombay, National Green Tribunal (NGT); National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC); Debt Recovery Tribunal, Delhi (DRT) and various District Courts of Delhi. He has been appointed as a Local Commissioner by the Delhi High Court in various matters to aid and assist the court. He has also worked as an international associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP (New York Office) and the Law Firm of Ravi Batra (New York).
Besides this he is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community, New Delhi Hub. He was nominated as one of the 15 Indian Citizens (and the only lawyer) to represent India in the Republic of China (Taiwan) as part of the “Taiwan Study Camp for Future Global Leaders from Korea & South Asia”.
