Mr. Arjun Natarajan is an alumnus of V.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Panaji, Goa. He is a Delhi based litigator. Additionally, he practises ADR. His special focus is on Consensual Dispute Resolution (CDR) mechanisms like strategic negotiation, mediation and conciliation.

He advises and represents business entities and he does private client work. In addition to advising and representing clients in contentious proceedings, he advises on non-contentious aspects of risk management, including advising on regulatory issues.

Arjun is certified to be a mediator by Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs under the aegis of Ministry of Corporate Affairs – Government of India. He practises negotiation and mediation, including deal mediation under IIAM Mediator’s Code of Professional Conduct. Arjun is one of the first persons in India to have been empanelled with Ministry of Corporate Affairs – Government of India, in his capacity as an expert in mediation or conciliation who has successfully undergone training in mediation or conciliation as per Rule 4(i) of Companies (Mediation and Conciliation) Rules, 2016.

He is the Founder & Publishing Editor of a dedicated blog on CDR in India.  Arjun also takes up public interest causes and pro bono projects. Central Office of Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) maintains specialised panels for quasi-judicial adjudicators. He is empanelled with Hon’ble National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, as a legal aid counsel.

He is a Guest Lecturer at Law Centre-I, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Additionally, he frequently delivers lectures on CDR mechanisms with emphasis on negotiation as well as the role of lawyers in CDR mechanisms and mediation advocacy. He has also lectures on Indian mediation law. He frequently assesses competitions on negotiation, mediation, client counselling and moot court competitions. He coaches law students participating in such competitions once in a while and drafts moot court problems.
