Mr Alok Kumar is the founding Partner of THS Law Firm, New Delhi.
He graduated, from National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India (‘NLSIU’); and has over 24 years of experience in India and London.
Mr. Kumar deals with major litigations involving Arbitration, International Dispute or issues involving ‘Question of Law’, Mining, Economic Offences, Prevention of Corruption Act and Money Laundering etc.
He has represented various Corporations and individuals, including former Chief Minister(s), Minster(s), Bureaucrats, etc., in cases under PC Act, PMLA, FEMA, Penal laws, pursued by CBI, Enforcement Directorate and other Government Agencies. He has assisted IFFCO in an International arbitration against a Jordanian Company under London Court of International Arbitration.
He represents Delhi International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (‘DIAL’) in various matters before the Central Government Tribunals, including CGIT, AERA, etc.
He is on panel of and regularly engaged by various Public and Private Sector Banks and Financial Institutions in both litigation and Debt/Consortium Finance transactions and regularly appears in Supreme Court of India, various High Court(s) in India and Tribunals.
