Mr. Akshay Nagpal is a corporate partner with L&L Partners (formerly Luthra & Luthra Law Offices). Mr. Nagpal has a rich experience of over 14 years in advising clients in different sectors on corporate commercial and M&A matters. As part of private practice, Mr. Nagpal has worked on large complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions in different sectors including Media, Telecommunications, Infrastructure and automobiles. He has also advised clients on high value business contracts like technology transfer and licensing contracts, procurement of technology services for development of products, long term supply contracts and distribution contracts.
As an in house counsel, Mr. Nagpal focuses on high value contracts for leasing and purchasing of aircrafts , aircraft maintenance contracts, aircraft equipment purchase contracts, high value IT solutions procurement contracts and revenue generation contracts like contracts with global distribution systems.
Prior to joining L&L Partners, Mr. Nagpal has been a Partner with J. Sagar Associates, Associate General Counsel with IndiGo Airlines and has worked with Davis, Polk and Wardwell, a leading US based international law firm.
Mr. Nagpal completed his LL.M from Columbia University School of Law and B.A.LLB (Hons) from National Law Institute University, Bhopal.
